[Role of neodymium laser in surgery: stimulation of postoperative surgical wounds healing. Results of clinical studies].

Objective: To prove the effectiveness of the low-intensity laser radiation application in the treatment of wounds of different origin.

Material And Methods: The clinical study involved 110 persons, divided into 55 subjects in both the study and control groups. The patients of the study group were exposed to the long-wave short-pulse neodymium laser immediately and within 35 days after interventions with a skin incision using it, in a way that wound treated with laser received low-level laser therapy.

[Optimization of laser exposure parameters during surgical correction of soft palate tissues in patients with ronchopathy and obstructive sleep apnea syndrome].

Objective: Substantiation of optimization of laser radiation parameters when performing surgery on the soft palate to improve the results of treatment of patients with ronchopathy and obstructive sleep apnea syndrome.

Material And Methods: Based on the experience of performing laser sculptural uvulopalatoplasty in 309 patients with ronchopathy and obstructive sleep apnea syndrome, a rational choice of parameters of laser radiation used during the operation is justified.

Results: Optimization of laser radiation parameters during laser sculptural uvulopalatoplasty allowed to improve the positive results of treatment of patients with ronchopathy and obstructive sleep apnea syndrome in 98.

[Combined treatment of colorectal cancer followed by metastatic liver injury].

Aim: To increase the effectiveness of treatment of colorectal cancer followed by metastatic liver lesion.

Material And Methods: This study included 319 patients with colorectal cancer and metastatic liver lesion Gennari grade I, II, and III for the period from 2002 to 2017. All patients received combined treatment.

[Antegrade approach for cholangiolithiasis complicated by mechanical jaundice].

Material And Methods: 166 patients aged from 23 to 92 years with cholangiolithiasis complicated by mechanical jaundice were enrolled. Patients were divided into 2 groups: group I (136) - retrograde endoscopic method, group II (30) - antegrade interventional approach.
