Low patient compliance for biopsies underscores the need for minimally-invasive diagnosis. Oral cytology, an apt method, is not clinically applicable due to a lack of definitive diagnostic criteria and subjective interpretation.

Editorial bias, quality of scientific research produced and language barriers have been attributed as possible causes for this phenomenon. The aim of this study was to understand the prevalence of editorial board members based out of low and lower-middle income countries in leading journals in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology.

Unlabelled: SARS-CoV-2, the causative virus of the Corona virus disease that was first recorded in 2019 (COVID-19), has already affected over 110 million people across the world with no clear targeted drug therapy that can be efficiently administered to the wide spread victims. This study tries to discover a novel potential inhibitor to the main protease of the virus, by computer aided drug discovery where various major active phytochemicals of the plant Linn. namely 2-3-4 beta-Ecdysone, Bioquercetin, Biorobin, Boeravinone J, Boerhavisterol, kaempferol, Liriodendrin, quercetin and trans-caftaric acid were docked to SAR-CoV-2 Main Protease using Molecular docking server.

Bacillus stercoris MBTDCMFRI Ba37 isolated from mangrove environment of tropical estuarine habitats of Cochin exhibited a wide spectrum of antibacterial activity against major aquaculture pathogens belonging to genus Vibrio and Aeromonas. The structural characterization of the antibacterial compound from this strain may help in identifying their role as a biocontrol agent in aquaculture and allied sectors.

Therefore, we tested the role of urinary PO in predicting kidney injury in those undergoing conventional versus combined (conventional and modified) ultrafiltration during cardiac surgery in adults.
Methodology: We prospectively evaluated 32 adults between 18 and 65 years of age undergoing elective on-pump cardiac surgery with ejection fraction >35% by conventional (group C) versus combined ultrafiltration (group CM).
Mitochondrial neurogastrointestinal encephalomyopathy is a rare autosomal recessive disorder characterized by severe muscle wasting, gastrointestinal dysmotility, leukoencephalopathy, peripheral neuropathy, and ophthalmoplegia. The pathogenesis involves the accumulation of very high concentrations of nucleosides dThd and dUrd along with depletion of nucleotide dCTP. One of the treatment measures is the removal of nucleosides dThd and dUrd by hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.

The antibacterial activity of the self-etching primers was assessed using agar disk diffusion method and the diameters of the zones of inhibition were measured and ranked. For tensile bond strength testing, 20 noncarious human molars were selected and randomly divided into two groups comprising 10 teeth in each group.
