Metastatic amelanotic melanoma with occult primary masquerading as sarcoma.

Malignant melanoma with occult primary is extremely rare. It is found that survival is almost same or even better than the melanomas with known primary site. Surgeons should have a high index of suspicion when a patient presents like sarcoma which bleeds profusely when planning for excision.
