Objective: Compare and evaluate the efficacy of sesame oil, coconut oil, and sunflower oil pulling on gingival health.
Methodology: Triple-blind randomized clinical trial was conducted by using three different oils in three groups.
Results: All three oils were found to be effective on gingival health but coconut oil is found to be more effective.
Background: The staining of primary teeth due to iron-containing supplements is a common concern among parents and healthcare providers.
Materials And Methods: Forty extracted primary teeth were divided into two groups of 20 each. Group A served as the control and received no enamel coating, while Group B was treated with a commercially available enamel surface coating.
Aim And Objective: The aim of the article is to determine the effectiveness of a structured teaching program on knowledge of tobacco consumption and its effects among adolescents (age group 13-16-year boys) and its retention over a period of six months.
Methodology: A single-blinded randomized control trial (parallel design) was conducted among randomly selected two government schools in Agartala, Tripura, India. The first school (Group 1, = 100) received oral health education in the form of a structured teaching program regarding the ill effects of tobacco consumption.
The fracture strength of implant supported zirconia-titanium base (Zi-Ti) base restorations with and without modification of submucosal cervical contour is of interest to dentists. 80 zirconia specimens were adjusted onto the Ti-base. One category consisted of specimens that underwent modification.
