Thiol-functionalized mesoporous silica and materials potentially dedicated to diverse applications of composite materials, metal colloids, and metal catalysts, etc. Here, we developed a new synthesis route for 3-methacryloxypropyl trimethoxy silane (MPTMS) functionalized mesoporous silica (KIT-6), achieving a 71.5 % enhancement in thiol functionalization on KIT-6 surfaces.

LK has been characterized using morphological, ecological, and genomic features. Based on 16S rRNA, whole-genome sequencing, and marker gene-based analysis, LK has been identified as a new species.

The crystallinity of α-FeO increased with reaction time as confirmed by X-ray Diffraction, while Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and Raman illustrate the symmetric stretching vibration of the Fe-O bond in α-FeO. The X-ray photoelectron spectroscopic analysis shows O 1s spectra at 530.

The iron redox ratio (Fe(2+)/total Fe) in the glass is investigated by two spectrophotometric methods. A novel decomposition technique has been optimized to measure the ferrous oxidation state in glass.
