The use of allogeneic haematopoietic stem cell transplantation (Allo-HSCT) is a standard treatment option for many patients with haematological malignancies. Historically, patients requiring intensive care unit (ICU) admission for transplant-related toxicities have fared extremely poorly, with high ICU mortality rates.
