Redox flow batteries (RFBs) employing nonaqueous electrolytes could potentially operate at much higher cell voltages, and therefore afford higher energy and power densities, than RFBs employing aqueous electrolytes. The development of such high-voltage nonaqueous RFBs requires anolytes that are electrochemically stable, especially in the presence of traces of oxygen and/or moisture. A series of triphenyl substituted pyrimidines as analogous of colchicine and combretastatin A-4 was synthesized and evaluated for the antiproliferative potential. The compounds were screened against MDA-MB-231, HCT-116 and HT-29 cell lines using MTT assay. Most of the compounds displayed antiproliferative activity in low to sub micro molar concentration.

Background: To our knowledge, there are no reports of the Ponseti method initiated after walking age and with >10 years of follow-up. Our goal was to report the clinical findings and patient-reported outcomes for children with a previously untreated idiopathic clubfoot who were seen when they were between 1 and 5 years old, were treated with the Ponseti method, and had a minimum follow-up of 10 years.

Emberger syndrome with underlying guanine-adenine-thymine-adenine 2 (GATA2) mutation is a rare disorder and very few successful nonmyeloablative allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplants (HSCTs) have been reported. We report a case of Emberger syndrome with GATA2 mutation in a 9-year-old girl who presented with congenital sensorineural deafness, warts, lymphedema, and Myelodysplastic syndrome.
