Assessment of Oral Health Knowledge, Attitude and Self-Care Practice Among Adolescents - A State Wide Cross- Sectional Study in Manipur, North Eastern India.

Introduction: The World Health Organization global strategy of promoting oral health have shown vast improvements in developed countries but the scenario is glum among underprivileged communities due to lacunae in implementation of these promotional programs. Manipur, a North Eastern state in India, is one such marginalized area.

Aim: The study aimed to evaluate Knowledge, Attitude and Practice (KAP) towards oral health in 15-18 year adolescents residing in Manipur together with the association of these variables to sociodemographic factors.

A simplified technique of orthograde MTA obturation on the elected canals of posterior teeth: Two case reports.

This article suggests a simplified technique of orthograde MTA obturation in less accessible canal(s) of posteriors teeth without using costly ultrasonics or specialised carrier. Essentially few finger pluggers, absorbent points and a simple canal projection method were used. The orifice(s) of the elected canal(s) to be obturated with MTA were projected onto the external occlusal surface for easy delivery and predictive instrumentation.

Role of titanium tetrafluoride (TiF(4)) in conservative dentistry: A systematic review.

The role of fluoride to reduce demineralization and enhance remineralization of dental hard tissue has been well documented. Different forms of fluoride solutions have been topically used in dentistry as prophylactic agents against tooth decay. In the recent past, metal fluorides, especially titanium tetrafluoride, have become popular in the fraternity of dental research due to their unique interaction with dental hard tissue.
