Unlabelled: Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women in urban India and surgery has one of the definitive roles in treating this cancer. Over the decades, multiple studies have been published and they have shown that BCS followed by radiotherapy has equivalent disease-free survival (DFS) and overall survival (OS) as compared with MRM. The surgeon has the main role in explaining the treatment options to the patient.

Meningioma metastasizing to the parotid is extremely rare and hence can often be mistaken for the more common primary salivary gland neoplasms.
Presentation Of Case: A 59-year-old male presented with a swelling in the left parotid region.
Introduction: Epidermoids of the lateral ventricle are relatively rare tumours. As these tumours are soft and relatively avascular, they appear to be ideally suited for endoscopic surgical excision. At present the instruments available are specifically designed for endoscopic intra ventricular surgeries, limitations being inability to rapidly debulk the tumour and achieve adequate haemostasis.

In the present study, we examined the firing patterns of vasopressin (VP) and oxytocin (OT) supraoptic neurons in coronal slices from virgin female rats, with and without blockade of inhibitory and excitatory synaptic currents. Inhibitory postsynaptic currents (IPSCs) were twice as prevalent as their excitatory counterparts (EPSCs), and both were more prevalent in OT compared with VP neurons.
