Background: Gingival mesenchymal stem cells (GMSCs) are distinctive homogenous subset of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), which has its development from neural ectomesenchyme along with contributions from the perifollicular mesenchyme and the dental follicle proper. GMSCs stand apart from other dental MSCs owing to their ease of accessibility and availability with incredible long culture sustainability without any tumorigenic capability, and stable telomerase activity. Their capacity to differentiate into various cell lineages and inherent therapeutic effect in chronic inflammatory diseases like colitis, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematous (SLE) and diabetes makes them immensely valuable.

-Nitrosocumene (-NC) exhibits dynamic N,N bonding, interchanging monomer and /-azodioxide dimer structures, the extent of which depends on the environment. As a solid, -NC is a Z-dimer; in organic solvent, the monomer is favored; and in water, dimers are favored. A supramolecular assembly of -NC is observed as a separate species by NMR in water, shown to be a novel nanometer-sized aggregate containing ∼2000 molecules.

Erectile dysfunction (ED) affects up to 50% of men to some degree and has a variety of physiologic and psychologic causes, but many patients do not seek specialist treatment. One cause of ED is Peyronie disease (PD) defined by the presence of fibrotic plaques in the tunica albuginea which cause painful penile contractures. While diagnosing PD relies on clinical history and a focused history and physical exam, adding imaging studies can identify nonpalpable plaques and any underlying vasculogenic ED to tailor the extent of surgical treatment and determine when implantable penile prostheses are beneficial.

Lewy Body Dementias (LBD), including Parkinson's disease dementia and Dementia with Lewy Bodies, are characterized by widespread accumulation of intracellular alpha-Synuclein protein deposits in regions beyond the brainstem, including in the cortex. Patients with LBDs develop cognitive changes, including abnormalities in executive function, attention, hallucinations, slowed processing, and cognitive fluctuations. The causes of these non-motor symptoms remain unclear; however, accumulation of alpha-Synuclein aggregates in the cortex and subsequent interference of synaptic and cellular function could contribute to psychiatric and cognitive symptoms.
