Odontome and its pathological effect on surrounding teeth.

Odontoma is the most common odontogenic tumour derived from both epithelial and mesenchymal components of the tooth-forming apparatus. It is commonly diagnosed in the second and third decades of life when a radiograph is taken for some other purpose, as most cases are asymptomatic. This case involves a young boy, with the chief complaint of pain and swelling in the lower left back region.
