Purpose: To evaluate macular and extramacular retinal anatomy in patients and carriers of X-linked retinoschisis (XLRS) using a wide-field spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) imaging technique.
Design: Case series.
Participants: Six XLRS-affected male subjects and 3 XLRS female carriers.
Idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH), or pseudotumor cerebri, is a debilitating neurological disorder characterized by elevated CSF pressure of unknown cause. IIH manifests as severe headaches, and visual impairments. Most typically, IIH prevails in overweight females of childbearing age and its incidence is rising in parallel with the obesity epidemic.
