Due to the strategic roles of autophagy and its upstream coordinator, the AKT/mTOR pathway, in inflammatory responses, the crosstalk between them in the context of periimplantitis should become a key research target, as it opens up an area of interesting data with clinical significance.

Material and a total of 79 patients with stage III-IV ovarian cancer treated at Elias Emergency University Hospital between January 2014 and March 2024 were included. Patients received either PDS followed by chemotherapy or NACT-IDS.

Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA) is associated with the development of cardiovascular disease (CVD); however, the risk is only weekly related to OSA severity traditionally determined by the apnoea-hypopnoea index. The Baveno classification was developed to improve patient selection who would benefit from OSA treatment in terms of symptoms improvement and CVD risk reduction. Considering two models, one for value relevance and one for accounting conservatism, this paper aims to analyze if the capital market influences the accounting practices of a target company or that the accounting figures influence the capital market. The analyzed sample used in the study is represented by the target companies involved in M&As which took place in the European Union Enlarged in 2017-2018.
