Effective microorganisms pose a great potential in wastewater treatment. In the present study, effective microorganisms' formulations were developed using different organic substrates that support the growth of more beneficial microorganisms for sewage treatment. Based on the metagenomic analysis and biochemical profile information, the fish waste-based effective microorganisms' formulation was identified as the effective formulation.

Unlabelled: The current climate change has a profound impact on agricultural production. Despite the unanimous efforts of several nations to prevent further increase in global temperatures, developing adaptive strategies by imparting heat tolerance in crop plants is essential to ensure global food security. This study demonstrates the impact of heat stress on the morphological, physiological and biochemical properties of different groundnut genotypes derived from a recombinant inbred line (RIL) population (JL 24 × 55-437).

Objective of this study is to understand the knowledge, attitude, and perception about Y&N among the inpatients of a government Y&N institution in south India. Focus group discussion was conducted in eight adult patients aged between 30 and 60 years who took Y&N treatments for a period of 10 days or more.

Microplastic contamination in terrestrial ecosystem is emerging as a global threat due to rapid production of plastic waste and its mismanagement. It affects all living organisms including plants. Hence, the current study aims at understanding the effect of polyethylene microplastics (PE-MPs) at different concentrations (0, 0.

Notably, satellite and ground-level observations-based multimodel simulations demonstrate that the present and future predicted O exposures could threaten food security. Hence, the present study aims at reviewing the phytotoxicity caused by O pollution, which threatens the food security.

Objective: We conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis, know the efficacy of foot reflexology on blood pressure reduction in patients with hypertension.
Vaginal births are associated with a certain degree of trauma to the genital tract, with significant short-term and long-term morbidity. Awareness of morbidity following perineal trauma has led to application of different interventions during the late first stage and second stage of labour to prevent severe perineal trauma. This includes techniques such as perineal massage, warm and cold compresses, and perineal management techniques.

In the present study, the prophylactic effect of VD on motor dysfunction was studied in an experimental model of HD. An HD-like syndrome was induced in male C57BL/6 mice through an intraperitoneal injection (i.

We describe a unique case of 31-year-old man presented with subacute neuro-psychiatric symptoms and a spectrum of movement disorders, suspicious of autoimmune encephalitis. Initial response to IV methylprednisolone followed by recurrence of symptoms strengthened our suspicion for autoimmune encephalitis.

Governing fertilizer requirements and utilizing nitrification inhibitors (NI) are effective methodologies to increase nitrogen retention and reduce NO emissions from soil. Therefore, the effect of potassium thiosulfate (KTS) and neem-coated urea (NCU) on NO efflux under irrigated tomato cultivation was assessed.

Biosolids are a nutrient-rich stable substance obtained during wastewater treatment process. With amplifying population and industrial development, upsurge of biosolid generation is also speculated. Biosolids are endowed with essential plant nutrient (macro- and micro-nutrients) which qualifies them to be used as soil amendment and in turn dwindles the use of chemical fertilizers.

The vestibular incision subperiosteal tunnel access (VISTA) technique is a minimally invasive recession coverage method that has gained popularity. This case series reviews the treatment outcomes in 10 patients with a total of 28 Miller Class I or Class II recession defects in the maxillary anterior region.

Use of fetal membranes such as the amnion and chorion has become increasingly popular in the field of dentistry due to their lack of immunogenicity and added advantage of growth factors. The present case series aimed to provide information regarding the potential advantage of placing a chorionic membrane in combination with the VISTA technique to achieve recession coverage.

The root surface roughness produced by hand scaling and subsequent glycine powder air polishing (GPAP) was compared with that produced by ultrasonic scaling and subsequent GPAP. Fifty extracted incisor and premolar teeth were collected and randomly allocated to the following 5 groups (n = 10 per group): 1, hand scaling followed by GPAP; 2, ultrasonic scaling followed by GPAP; 3, hand scaling alone; 4, ultrasonic scaling alone; and 5, no treatment.
