Coccidioidomycosis is an endemic fungal infection that is typically asymptomatic or associated with pulmonary disease. Extrapulmonary disease may involve the skin, bones, or central nervous system, yet endovascular infections are exceedingly rare. We report the first case, to our knowledge, of coccidioidomycosis of the native aorta in an immunocompromised host.

Objective: To report the Mayo Clinic experience with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) related to patient outcomes.

Methods: We conducted a retrospective chart review of patients with COVID-19 diagnosed between March 1, 2020, and July 31, 2020, at any of the Mayo Clinic sites. We abstracted pertinent comorbid conditions such as age, sex, body mass index, Charlson Comorbidity Index variables, and treatments received.

Background: Histoplasmosis is a rare cause of 1, 25-dihydroxy vitamin-D-mediated hypercalcemia. In this study, we report 2 cases of hypercalcemia secondary to histoplasmosis seen at Mayo Clinic, Rochester and a review of cases reported in the literature.
