Used: Maslach Burnout Inventory questionnaire (MBI), modification of Maslach Burnout Inventory questionnaire (mod MBI), burnout questionnaire (BQ), neurotic level diagnosis technique (NLDT), clinical questionnaire for identifying and evaluating neurotic conditions (CQIENC), symptomatic questionnaire (SQ).

The objective of the research was to determine odontological (odontometric and odontoscopic) and morpho-aesthetic variations of the upper central and lateral incisors in 14-year-old children residing in Udmurt Republic. 200 adolescent respondents (100 boys and 100 girls) were included in the study. We accessed morphological aspects of the permanent upper right and left central incisors (URCI and ULCI) in 14-year-old children born and permanently residing in conditionally ecologically favorable districts of the Udmurt Republic.

The connection between Netherton syndrome and overactivation of epidermal/dermal proteases, particularly Kallikrein 5 (KLK5) has been well established and it is expected that a KLK5 inhibitor would improve the dermal barrier and also reduce the pain and itch that afflict Netherton syndrome patients. One of the challenges of covalent protease inhibitors has been achieving selectivity over closely related targets. In this paper we describe the use of structural insight to design and develop a selective and highly potent reversibly covalent KLK5 inhibitor from an initial weakly binding fragment.

Evaluation of a crystallographic surrogate for kallikrein 5 in the discovery of novel inhibitors for Netherton syndrome.

The inhibition of kallikrein 5 (KLK5) has been identified as a potential strategy for treatment of the genetic skin disorder Netherton syndrome, in which loss-of-function mutations in the SPINK5 gene lead to down-regulation of the endogenous inhibitor LEKTI-1 and profound skin-barrier defects with severe allergic manifestations. To aid in the development of a medicine for this target, an X-ray crystallographic system was developed to facilitate fragment-guided chemistry and knowledge-based drug-discovery approaches. Here, the development of a surrogate crystallographic system in place of KLK5, which proved to be challenging to crystallize, is described.

To treat sufferers of this severe condition we wished to develop a topical KLK5 inhibitor in order to normalise epidermal shedding and reduce the associated inflammation and itching. In this paper we describe structure-based optimisation of a series of brightly coloured weak KLK5 inhibitors into colourless, non-irritant molecules with good KLK5 activity and selectivity over a range of serine proteases.

Regression algorithm for calculating second-dimension retention indices in comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography.

Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) is one of the most accurate, well developed, and reliable analytical tools for the analysis of volatile and semivolatile compounds. The GC-MS data have been extensively improved by enhancing the separation capacity via comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography (GC × GC). The reliability of the identification of the analytes in GC × GC-MS can be notably improved by applying the second-dimension retention index (I) as additional analytical parameter along with the commonly used first dimension retention index (I) and mass spectrum.

Detection of semi-volatile compounds in cloud waters by GC×GC-TOF-MS. Evidence of phenols and phthalates as priority pollutants.

Although organic species are transported and efficiently transformed in clouds, more than 60% of this organic matter remains unspeciated. Using GCxGC-HRMS technique we were able to detect and identify over 100 semi-volatile compounds in 3 cloud samples collected at the PUY station (puy de Dôme mountain, France) while they were present at low concentrations in a very small sample volume (<25 mL of cloud water). The vast majority (∼90%) of the detected compounds was oxygenated, while the absence of halogenated organic compounds should be specially mentioned.
