Background: In the context of global population aging and the rapid development of information technology, the demand for Internet Plus Home Care Nursing (Internet+ HCN) services have been on the rise, especially in China. Internet+ HCN services have the potential to maximize existing human resources to counter the shortage of medical healthcare services. However, at present, Internet+ HCN services are difficult to scale due to the lack of standardized service quality governance.

The Effectiveness of a Traditional Chinese Medicine-Based Mobile Health App for Individuals With Prediabetes: Randomized Controlled Trial.

Background: Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) theories assert that body constitution and meridian energy lay the foundation for disease prevention. TCM-based health concepts have not yet been incorporated into mobile health (mHealth) apps for individuals with prediabetes.

A Concept of Mobile Support System for the Young Onset Dementia in Taiwan.

Owing to the increasing population of young onset dementia all over the world. We designed a 6"-display Android mobile system for evaluating the potential patient of Dementia. A pilot test at experienced nursing members showed that they had strong willing of launching this design in their daily practical events.

This study aimed to construct a health application that could effectively meet family caregivers' needs in providing home care. Mixed methods were adopted to explore their acceptance of the application, as well as to gather their suggestions for improving the application.

Establish a Real-time Responsible Home Quarantine and Monitoring Management mHealth Platform.

Due to the global spreading of the COVID-19 virus, countries all over the world are faced with the need to conduct centralized quarantine or home quarantine for "persons who have been in contact with individuals diagnosed with the COVID-19 virus" and "visitors who have travel histories via COVID-19 hot zones". We have presented the community home quarantine service platform design that was utilized in Nanjing, China when the first wave of citizens returns to work after the Chinese New Year holidays on 10th Feb 2020. Avoiding Obsolescence in Mobile Health: Experiences in Designing a Mobile Support System for Complicated Documentation at Long-term Care Facilities.

This study examined staff perceptions of planned obsolescence during a transition from old to new handheld devices for long-term mobile healthcare. Questionnaires based on the technology acceptance model were used to evaluate perceived ease of use and usefulness. This study recruited 120 staff from 26 long-term care facilities who used the old device and 86 staff from nine of the 26 original facilities who used the new device.

Background: While health informatics recommendations on competencies and education serve as highly desirable corridors for designing curricula and courses, they cannot show how the content should be situated in a specific and local context. Therefore, global and local perspectives need to be reconciled in a common framework.

Integrated care has been an important model for caring the elderly. In China, it is still at its very early stage. We proposed a new model to develop a smart mobile system, taking the CARE instrument as the base and composed of apps for stakeholders.

The Effectiveness of Taiwan TIGER Model in Assisting Nurses in Designing Customized Diabetics Medication Management System.

Our hospital was still late in establisheding a nursing information system, including a component for blood glucose management. We tried to use the Taiwan TIGER model to train ourselves to see whether we could develop a working system on our own. The process is very educating and we did not only successfully designed a system based on our ideas, but also learn how to convert from traditional paper work to automation with ICT capability.

Making the CARE Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment as the Core of a Total Mobile Long Term Care Support System in China.

Comprehensive Geriatric Assessments (CGAs) have been recommended to be used for better monitoring the health status of elder residents and providing quality care. This study reported how our nurses perceived the usability of CGA component of a mobile integrated-care long term care support system developed in China. We used the Continuity Assessment Record and Evaluation (CARE), developed in the US, as the core CGA component of our Android-based support system, in which apps were designed for all key stakeholders for delivering quality long term care.

Validated Simulation: The Preliminary Experience of Anesthesiologist Board Examination in Taiwan.

High fidelity simulation-based teaching has played an important role in medical education, especially in anesthesiology and emergency. But there is not any currently validated scoring system or prediction model for high fidelity simulation. We will develop a validated prediction model to enhance the efficiency and validation of clinical training with high fidelity simulation.

A Homemade Easy Information System: The Example of Patient Satisfaction Survey.
