- The study examined 110 lung cancer patients to explore the link between lung cancer type and symptoms of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).
- It found that patients with adenocarcinoma were more likely to have normal lung function (FEV1%VC over 70) compared to those with small cell or squamous lung cancer.
- Additionally, those with better lung function showed less severe COPD symptoms and higher oxygen levels, while there was no connection between lung cancer type and symptoms of bronchitis or emphysema.

A case of chronic necrotic aspergillosis was discussed. Diagnostic and therapeutic difficulties were described in patient with an insufficiency of immune response mainly in polymorphonuclear leukocytes function.
