[Lymphoepithelioma-like carcinoma of the esophagus: description of a case].

The authors describe a case of lymphoepithelioma-like carcinoma (LELC) of the esophagus occurring in a 77-year-old man. To date, 13 cases have been described in the literature, all in natives of Japan. Histological features, immunohistochemical findings and differential diagnosis are discussed.
