Background: McKittrick-Wheelock syndrome is an uncommon and severe disorder caused by large hypersecretory tumors located in the distal colorectal area. Excessive secretion from adenomas is an unusual clinical manifestation that leads to severe electrolyte and fluid depletion, subsequently resulting in kidney injury.
