Background: Different clinical features of skin diseases have been addressed between aging patients and non-aging patients. However, data focusing on the clinical features of chronic urticaria (CU) in aging patients especially in the Asian population are still limited.
Objective: This study aimed to investigate the clinical characteristics of CU in aging and non-aging patients in the Asian population.
Background: Daily bathing with antiseptic cleansers are proposed by some physicians as an adjunctive management of atopic dermatitis (AD). As atopic skin is sensitive, selection of cleansing products becomes a topic of concern.
Objective: Our purpose is to evaluate the pH of various antiseptic body cleansers to give an overview for recommendation to patients with AD.
Background: Patients with atopic dermatitis (AD) have increased susceptibility to irritants. Some patients have questions about types of water for bathing or skin cleansing.
Objective: We studied the pH of water from various sources to give an overview for physicians to recommend patients with AD.
Background: The clinical role of house dust mite (HDM) in atopic dermatitis (AD) is still controversial.
Objective: The aim of the study is to assess the prevalence, clinical relevance and characteristics of adult-onset AD patients with positive skin prick tests (SPT) to mites.
Methods: The case record forms of adult-onset AD patients who underwent SPT at the Skin Allergy Clinic, Siriraj Hospital were reviewed.
