Objective: Our aim was to present case series of rare complications from chin filler augmentation with possible pathophysiology and management.
Methods: From our thorough literature search found only one case report of tongue necrosis from chin filler augmentation.
Background: Antiretroviral drug hypersensitivity in HIV patients is common. Publications have shown that Abacavir (ABC) patch testing is useful in confirming ABC hypersensitivity in 24-50% of cases with a 100% sensitivity of HLA-B*5701 in patch test positive cases. However, Nevirapine (NVP) patch testing has not been reported.
