A tripodal Schiff base ligand, 2,4,6-Tris(4-carboxybenzimino)-1,3,5-triazine (MT) and its trinuclear Dy(III), Er(III), and Gd(III) complexes were synthesized. These were characterized using UV-visible, IR, H, and C NMR spectroscopies, elemental analysis, and molar conductivity measurements. The spectral studies indicate that the ligand is hexadentate and coordinates to the Ln(III) ions through the oxygen atoms of the carboxylic group.

The synthesis, properties, characterization and sulphonation of aril cap oil were examined to establish its leather fatliquoring potential. The analysis of the aril cap oil before and after the completion of sulphonation process was carried out in order to confirm the modification of the oil. The physicochemical properties showed a marked difference between both analyzed oils as the melting point, acid value, free fatty acid, iodine value, saponification value and % SO of the unsulphonated/sulphonated oil were observed to be 6.

Twelve new derivatives of benzothiazole bearing benzenesulphonamide and carboxamide were synthesised and investigated for their in vivo anti-inflammatory, analgesic and ulcerogenic activities. Molecular docking showed an excellent binding interaction of the synthesised compounds with the receptors, with 17c showing the highest binding energy (-12.50 kcal/mol).

Iron (III) complexes of ciprofloxacin, amoxicillin, and cloxacillin were synthesized and their aqueous solubility profiles, relative stabilities, and antimicrobial properties were evaluated. The complexes showed improved aqueous solubility when compared to the corresponding ligands. Relative thermal and acid stabilities were determined spectrophotometrically and the results showed that the complexes have enhanced thermal and acid stabilities when compared to the pure ligands.

The title compound, C7H13ClN2O2, synthesized by the reaction of 2-chloro-ethyl iso-cyanate and morpholine, crystallizes with four molecules in the asymmetric unit, which have similar conformations and comprise two pairs each related by approximate non-crystallographic inversion centres. Two of them have a modest orientational disorder of the 2-chloro-ethyl fragments [occupancy ratio of 0.778 (4):0.
