[Surgical management of varicocele with vein-to-vein anastomosis].

The authors mention the technique of Koichi Ishigami, relative to 15 cases. This involves the anastomosis of the spermatic vein with the long saphenous vein. The authors use phlebography to show the permeability of this venovenostomy, and emphasize the quality of their results.

Fractionated cystography to assess infiltration of the bladder wall by intravesical tumors.

Twenty cases of carcinoma of the cervix uteri stage III and IV and ten cases of carcinoma of the rectosigmoid colon stage III were investigated by fractionated cystography to detect any infiltration of the destensible part of the urinary bladder wall. Cystography was normal in all cases except one. The finding was confirmed operatively in each of the ten cases of rectosigmoid carcinoma.

[Our experience with functional ascending cinephlebography].

Over the last three years, ascending, functional cine-phlebography has been used on 43 patients with different lesions of the venous system. The patient is placed in the decubitus dorsal position, on a radiological table inclined at 70 degrees. The opaque liquid is injected into the dorsal vein of the foot.
