One-day thyroid surgery - is it safe?

The Aim Of The Study: was to evaluate the safety of one-day thyroid surgery based on the assessment of the incidence of early postoperative complications.

Material And Methods: The study comprised 726 patients who underwent total thyroidectomy during the period between January, 2012 and February, 2013. The study considered the three most common thyroidectomy complications.

Geographical location and key sensitivity issues of post-industrial regions in Europe.

Primary objectives of our work were to spatially delineate post industrial areas of the EU-27 and indicate key environmental, social and economic sensitivity issues for these regions.
