Objective: To describe the experiences of partners accompanying pregnant women during a caesarean section and to identify factors which influence the experiences.
Methods: It is a prospective, single-center, observational study which included all partners of women who underwent a planned or an unplanned caesarean section in a maternity hospital during a two months period (1st November 2020 - 1st January 2021). The outcome was evaluated by a standardized questionnaire: the first-time father questionnaire (FTFQ) (1).
T-lymphoblastic lymphoma (T-LBL) and thymoma are two rare primary tumors of the thymus deriving either from T-cell precursors or from thymic epithelial cells, respectively. Some thymoma subtypes (AB, B1, and B2) display numerous reactive terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-positive (TdT) T-cell precursors masking epithelial tumor cells. Therefore, the differential diagnosis between T-LBL and TdT T-lymphocyte-rich thymoma could be challenging, especially in the case of needle biopsy.

However, there is notable divergence among countries in their national guidelines regarding the optimal technique for blunt expansion hysterotomy of the low transverse uterine incision during caesarean section (cephalad-caudad or transverse).
Aim: To compare the risk of severe postpartum haemorrhage (PPH) between cephalad-caudad and transverse blunt expansion hysterotomy during caesarean section.
Diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) in pregnancy could be a disastrous event with increased maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality. DKA can occur with a normal blood glucose level, known as euglycemic DKA. It particularly affects pregnant women with type I diabetes.

Methods: Metastatic tumor biopsies were processed for immunohistochemical staining (p4EBP1, PTEN, pAKT, LKB1, and pS6K). ESR1, PIK3CA and AKT1 gene mutations were detected by NGS.
Purpose: To assess the impact of PHF6 alterations on clinical outcome and therapeutical actionability in T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL).
Experimental Design: We described PHF6 alterations in an adult cohort of T-ALL from the French trial Group for Research on Adult Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (GRAALL)-2003/2005 and retrospectively analyzed clinical outcomes between PHF6-altered (PHF6ALT) and wild-type patients. We also used EPIC and chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing data of patient samples to analyze the epigenetic landscape of PHF6ALT T-ALLs.
Objectives: While depression has been associated with physical function decline and worsening frailty in older adults, the impact of other mental health symptoms on physical function and frailty is unknown. The study objective was to determine whether depression, perceived stress, loneliness, and anxiety symptoms affect 5-year physical function and frailty trajectories of older adults.
Methods: The National Social Life, Health, and Aging Project (NSHAP) is a nationally-representative study of adults born between 1920 and 1947.
Cold plasma is gaining increasing attention as a novel tool to activate energy demanding chemical processes, including advanced reduction/oxidation processes (AROPs) of organic pollutants in water. The very complex milieu generated by discharges at the water/plasma interface comprises photons, strong oxidants and strong reductants which can be exploited for achieving the degradation of most any kind of pollutants. Despite the complexity of these systems, the powerful arsenal of mechanistic tools and chemical probes of physical organic chemists can be usefully applied to understand and develop plasma chemistry.

We screened 5571 families of artificial insemination sires from 15 breeds and revealed 13 putative interchromosomal rearrangements, 12 of which were validated by cytogenetic analysis and long-read sequencing. These consisted of one Robertsonian fusion, 10 reciprocal translocations, and the first case of insertional translocation reported in cattle.

Objective: This study aims to characterize the women's health care pathway and to evaluate the rate of complications during a surgical abortion according to the technique of dilatation and evacuation between 14 and 16 SA.
Method: Single-center prospective study at the Armand Trousseau Hospital with inclusion of women who had an abortion between 14 and 16 GA in the Obstetrics & Gynecology Department of the Armand Trousseau Hospital between March 2 and October 31, 2022.
Results: Forty-six women underwent an abortion during this 8-month period.

Objective: To assess the incidence and risk factors for severe postpartum haemorrhage (PPH) in women with an anterior low-lying or praevia placenta, prior caesarean and no prenatal suspicion of placenta accreta spectrum (PAS).
Design: Population-based study in 176 maternity units in France.
Population: All women with anterior low-lying (0-19 mm from the cervical internal os) or praevia placenta, diagnosed prospectively before birth, prior caesarean and no prenatal suspicion of PAS.
T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) is an aggressive hematological malignancy with a dismal prognosis related to refractory/relapsing diseases, raising the need for new targeted therapies. Activating mutations of interleukin-7-receptor pathway genes (IL-7Rp) play a proven leukemia-supportive role in T-ALL. JAK inhibitors, such as ruxolitinib, have recently demonstrated preclinical efficacy.

To date, little is known about the durability and kinetics of antibody titers months after receiving a booster dose. In this work, we studied the dynamic of anti-Trimeric Spike (anti-TrimericS) IgG titer in the healthcare worker population of a large academic hospital in Northern Italy, in those who had received two vaccine doses plus a booster dose.

Previous studies have revealed a large variability in mortality rates between breeds and sire progeny groups, with some extreme cases due to dominant mutations causing various syndromes among the descendants of mosaic bulls. The purpose of this study was to monitor sire-family calf mortality within the French and Walloon Holstein populations, and to use this information to detect genetic defects that might have been overlooked by lack of specific symptoms.

The number of chromosomes is 2 = 36 in wild boar and 2 = 38 in pig, respectively. This difference makes it possible to assign the "hybrid" status to wild boar individuals controlled with 37 or 38 chromosomes.

The aim of the Hy-Result e-Health prospective study is to evaluate the practice and experience of women using the Hy-Result coaching app for self-interpretation of BP readings during and after pregnancy.
Methods: Participants were asked to: i) measure their BP at home; ii) use the Hy-Result app and send their PDF report to the researcher; iii) answer anonymously to 3 online independent questionnaires (Q).
Objective: To compare two portable lactate devices, Lactate Scout and StatStrip Xpress, to a laboratory reference device by assessing the concordance of cord blood lactate values at birth.
Methods: We conducted a single-center prospective validation study in a level 3 maternity hospital. For all cord samples taken at birth, we analyzed lactates on the reference device (GEM4000®) and on two portable devices Lactate Scout and StatStrip Xpress.
Carriers of balanced constitutional reciprocal translocations usually present a normal phenotype, but often show reproductive disorders. For the first time in pigs, we analyzed the meiotic process of an autosome-autosome translocation associated with azoospermia. Meiotic process analysis revealed the presence of unpaired autosomal segments with histone γH2AX accumulation sometimes associated with the XY body.

In this review, we discuss how modern models of haematopoiesis might inform approaches to diagnosis and management of immature leukaemias, with a specific focus on T-lymphoid and myeloid cases. In particular, we consider whether next-generation analytical tools could provide new perspectives that could improve our understanding of immature blood cancer biology.

By documenting the local immune activation during the period of uterine receptivity, we aim to detect and correct potential imbalances before and at the very beginning of placentation. The main objective of the study was to analyze in women with a history of repeated pregnancy loss (RPL) the association of personalized strategies based on immune dysregulations with live birth rates.
