Intersectionality on the perception of health in two cross-national surveys (WVS and EVS).

This article focuses on the health perceptions of people across social strata and nations using the combined dataset of the World Values Survey and the European Values Study (EVS/WVS). An intercategorical intersectional analysis model was developed to examine the social determinants underlying differences in health perceptions. Using logistic regression of the interactions between sex, age, level of educational attainment and income, we calculated the impact of these variables (main effects) and their interactions within the intersecting categories on health perceptions.

Intimate partner violence experienced by women living with-and without-disability in the European Union. A quantitative intersectional analysis.

This article aims to explore the specific combination and interactions of inequalities associated with experiencing Intimate Partner Violence that affects European women living with-or without-a disability. The analysis is based on the survey carried out by the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) between 2010 and 2012. In that survey, 42,002 women were interviewed, with a representative sample of women from each of the 28 countries of the European Union.

Analysis of ethoxyquin residues in animal feed using QuEChERS and gas chromatography tandem mass spectrometry and its results from Catalonian production 2018-2019.

Ethoxyquin (EQ) is a quinolone commonly used as an antioxidant additive and a fungicide. However, Regulation (EU) 2017/962 suspended its authorisation as a feed additive for all animal species and categories. The aim of this study is thus to ensure compliance with this regulation by developing a method of analysing EQ in animal feed.

Interactions Between Direct and Structural Violence in Sexual Harassment Against Spanish and Unauthorized Migrant Women.

This article analyzes the intersection of direct and indirect violence against Spanish women and unauthorized migrant women working in precarious jobs in Almeria (Spain). Specifically, it seeks to understand how unauthorized migrant women define violence, the relationship between sexual harassment and other types of direct violence (such as intimate partner violence), and structural, legal, and cultural violence. To do this, we apply a multilevel intersectional analysis focusing on 32 interviews with Spanish and unauthorized migrant women.
