Introduction: There has been a rapid adoption of telerehabilitation services, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, with minimal guidance or evaluation of benefit. This survey explores experiences of video consultations in a specialist outpatient neurorehabilitation service.

Novel Cobalt Dichloride Complexes with Hindered Diphenylphosphine Ligands: Synthesis, Characterization, and Behavior in the Polymerization of Butadiene.

Two novel cobalt diphenylphosphine complexes were synthesized by reacting cobalt(II) chloride with -butyl(diphenyl)phosphine (PBuPh) and ()-(+)neomenthyldiphenylphosphine [()-NMDPP]. The crystal structure of the former was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies. The two complexes were then used in combination with methylaluminoxane (MAO) for the polymerization of 1,3-butadiene: crystalline highly syndiotactic 1,2 poly(1,3-butadiene)s were obtained, with a 1,2 content and a syndiotactic index (percentage of syndiotactic triads []) up to 95% and 85%, respectively.

Introduction: Joint hypermobility syndrome (JHS) has been reported to have widespread impacts on people with the condition. However, our understanding of those impacts is still developing and we do not know if they can be captured effectively using patient-reported outcome measures. Nocardia is an opportunistic pathogen and Pulmonary Nocardiosis (PN) occurred in more than half of the cases in subjects with immuno-suppressed status. COPD is one of the most common comorbidity observed in immuno-competent patients with PN. In this perspective study, we report the clinical patterns, the outcomes and the comorbidities of all cases of PN admitted in our Unit in the years 1999-2012.

Background: Declining fertility of couples from the fourth decade of life is largely attributable to the drop in female fertility. Long-term outcomes of elective human sperm cryostorage.

Background: Sperm cryopreservation allows men with threatened fertility to preserve their progenitive potential, but there is little data on long-term outcomes of elective sperm cryostorage programmes.

Methods And Results: Over 22 years, 930 men sought semen cryostorage in a single academic hospital, of which 833 (90%) had spermatozoa cryostored. Among 692 (74%) men surviving their illness, sperm samples were discarded for 193 (21% of all applicants, 28% of survivors) and cryostored spermatozoa were used for 64 men (7% of all applicants, 9% of survivors) in 85 treatment cycles commencing at a median of 36 months post-storage (range 12-180 months) with nearly 90% of usage started within 10 years of storage and none after 15 years.
