Over the years, radiotherapy has seen continual improvements and has become a standard treatment for most malignant tumors. Cardiotoxicity is a well-known radiotherapy side effect, leading to the risk of long-term morbidity and mortality in cancer survivors. We aimed to provide new data regarding the role of chemotherapy and surgery and the prognostic factors of disease-free survival.
Methods: This study was based on data from the REFCOR database and included patients with SNUC treated with curative intent from 2007 to 2021 across 22 centres in France.
