Introduction: Multidisciplinary team meetings (MTMs) in the field of pelvic floor diseases in women tend to generalize, as they are required as mandatory before mid-urethral sling implantation or sacrocolpopexy by recent decrees published by the French health authorities. However, access to these meetings is variable in the French territory. The goal of the present study was to describe the existence and the settings of these kinds of meetings in France.

However, the data are often weak, conflicting and gathered with non-validated questionnaires. Hence, we performed a cross-sectional study of 44 men with non-obstructive azoospermia.

Martius fat pad (MFP) is an historic procedure, widely used to treat lower urinary tract (LUT) fistulae. We report our experience with the insertion of the biological small intestinal submucosa (SIS) xenograft as an alternative to MFP in these prosthetic complications.

Methods: We conducted a retrospective monocentric study including patients who underwent VH and C-USLS, without concomitant mesh, for primary urogenital prolapse between January 2011 and June 2018. We evaluated the anterior and apical prolapse recurrence rate, using a composite criterion (symptomatic, asymptomatic recurrence, POP-Q stage ≥ 2).
Introduction: Neoadjuvant chemotherapy with docetaxel and estramustine (DE) significantly improved relapse-free survival in patients with high-risk localized prostate cancer treated with androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) for 3 years and a local treatment in the GETUG-12 phase III trial. We sought to explore whether the addition of DE impacts long-term treatment-related side effects.
Patients And Methods: Patients randomized within the UNICANCER GETUG-12 trial at Gustave Roussy who were alive when ADT was discontinued were followed-up prospectively.
Aim: To assess the prognostic value of multiple recurrences on the risk of progression in a large cohort of TaG1 bladder cancer of low and intermediate risk based on the EORTC score and to evaluate prognostic factors of multiple recurrences.
Materials And Methods: We retrospectively analyzed a French cohort of 470 patients with primary TaG1 bladder cancer diagnosed between 1986 and 2010 and followed until 2012. They were classified at low and intermediate risk using the EORTC risk score.
Aims: Aims of this study were to assess the long-term outcomes of Intradetrusor injection of OnabotulinumtoxinA (Botox® injection) associated with clean intermittent-catheterization (CIC) for the treatment of neurogenic detrusor overactivity (NDO) and to identify risk factors for failure.
Methods: Neurological patients with NDO using CIC who had received Botox® injections between January 2001 and September 2013 were included. Clinical, urodynamic and radiological data were recorded.
Objectives: To retrospectively assess the long-term outcome of patients initially diagnosed with TaG1 non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) with no immediate postoperative instillation of intravesical chemotherapy and evaluate the reproducibility of the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) scoring system for predicting bladder cancer outcome.
Methods And Materials: A retrospective analysis of 481 consecutive cases of initially diagnosed TaG1 NMIBC according to the 1973 World Health Organization classification between 1995 and 2008 in a single institution was performed. Time to first recurrence, time to progression to T1 or G3 bladder cancer, and time to progression to muscle-invasive bladder cancer were studied.
Purpose: Biopsy and final pathological Gleason score (GS) are inconstantly correlated with each other. The aim of the current study was to develop and validate a predictive score to screen patients diagnosed with a biopsy GS ≤ 6 prostate cancer (PCa) at risk of GS upgrading.
Methods: Clinical and pathological data of 1,179 patients managed with radical prostatectomy for a biopsy GS ≤ 6, clinical stage ≤ T2b and preoperative PSA ≤ 20 ng/ml PCa were collected.
What's known on the subject? and What does the study add? Diethylstilbestrol (DES) has been found to have anti-tumour properties and clinical effectiveness in prostate cancer that is resistant to the first-line hormonal therapy. This review found that low-dose DES has anti-tumour efficacy with limited cardiovascular side effects and should be considered for secondary hormone manoeuvres. The aim of this review was to describe the most recent data from contemporary clinical trials of diethylstilbestrol (DES) to better determine its current role in advanced prostate cancer treatment as new hormonal therapies emerge.

As surgery has been recognized to be the only effective treatment for morbid obesity, the number of bariatric procedure realized each year has dramatically increased. Among all the surgical options, gastric bypass in considered as the gold standard.
