Objective: Cefepime is commonly used in pediatric intensive care units, where unpredictable variations in the patients' pharmacokinetic (PK) variables may require drug dose adjustments. The objectives of the present study were to build a population PK model for cefepime in critically ill children and to optimize individual initial dosing regimens.
Methods: Children (aged from 1 month to 18 years; body weight >3 kg) receiving cefepime were included.
Objective: To describe the evolution over a 12-year period of a pediatric intensive care unit transport team's (PICU-TT) experience of pediatric and neonatal interhospital transportation on high-frequency oscillation ventilation (HFOV).
Methods: This was a monocentric retrospective observational study from January 2006 to December 2017. All patients aged under 18 years old who were transported on HFOV by the Robert Debré Hospital PICU-TT were included.
Background: A recent increase in children admitted with hypotensive shock and fever in the context of the COVID-19 outbreak requires an urgent characterization and assessment of the involvement of SARS-CoV-2 infection. This is a case series performed at 4 academic tertiary care centers in Paris of all the children admitted to the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) with shock, fever and suspected SARS-CoV-2 infection between April 15th and April 27th, 2020.
Results: 20 critically ill children admitted for shock had an acute myocarditis (left ventricular ejection fraction, 35% (25-55); troponin, 269 ng/mL (31-4607)), and arterial hypotension with mainly vasoplegic clinical presentation.

Methods: This is a multicenter, prospective, observational study on inhaled NO administered through an integrated delivery and monitoring device and indicated for PH according to the market authorizations.
Study Objective: We assess the prevalences of bacterial meningitis and herpes simplex virus meningoencephalitis (HSV-ME) in children with a complex febrile seizure and determine these prevalences in the subgroup of children with a clinical examination result not suggestive of meningitis or encephalitis.
Methods: This multicenter retrospective study was conducted in 7 pediatric emergency departments (EDs) in the region of Paris, France. Visits of patients aged 6 months to 5 years for a complex febrile seizure from January 2007 to December 2011 were analyzed.
Refractory severe hemodynamic or respiratory failure may require extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO). Since some patients are too sick to be transported safely to a referral ECMO center on conventional transportation, mobile ECMO transport teams have been developed. The experiences of some ECMO transport teams have already been reported, including air and international transport.

DCX encodes a microtubule-associated protein involved in neuronal migration during brain development. Structural data show that mutations can fall either in surface residues, likely to impair partner interactions, or in buried residues, likely to impair protein stability.
