Objective: The aim: To perform a morphometric assessment of the coronary arteries ostia by intravascular ultrasound with morphological evaluation among the Ukrainian population.

Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: Intravascular images of the ostia of the right (48%) and left (52%) coronary arteries with the minimum diameter, maximum diameter, mean diameter and lumen area were analyzed. With limited time for analysing computed tomography (CT) data in medical emergencies, radiologists and clinicians are not always aware of congenital pathologies, especially in asymptomatic cases. We present a case report of heterotaxy syndrome detected incidentally in a 62-year-old female with massive pulmonary embolism, local saccular aneurysm of the aortic arch and COVID-19. The presented case describes an unusual combination of life-threatening conditions and congenital anomalies.

Situs inversus totalis is a rare condition of visceral transposition in thoracic and abdominal cavities. Computed tomography (CT)-based morphometric analysis of the cardiovascular system prior to the surgery helps to describe vessel topography and size, choose the right surgical insertion site, avoid vessel trauma, and prevent hemorrhage during surgical intervention. We present a case report of situs inversus totalis detected incidentally in a 74-year-old male with the acute abdominal syndrome.
