The management of singleton breech deliveries in a referral hospital of an exclusively rural area is described. Since many cases are referred during labour after an attempted domiciliary delivery a primary vaginal delivery with extended indications for Caesarean Section is the general plan of management. Between 1971 and 1976, one hundred and seventy seven singleton breech deliveries were performed.

The joint heart shows in particular a reduction of the heart rooms, a defect of the ventricular septum and a transposition of the big vessels in one of the individuals. Moreover a multilobularity of the lungs, a fusion liver and a partly joint portion of the small intestine is to be seen.

A semiquantitative immunological GCG determination was carried out in the urines of 186 patients with the diagnosis abortus imminens. For prognosis of the further course of pregnancy the patients were subdivided into various groups according to the results of the HCG determination. In the group IV with primary positive immunological tests up to titres of 1:8 and higher with constant of even increasing titres in control test 87% of the patients were able to carry to a full term, only in 13% an abortus took place.

Hgb and red blood count rose significantly with this treatment. It was found that on effervescent tablet daily was sufficient for a satisfactory result of the treatment.

The effect of therapeutical irradiation of uterus carcinoma and corpus carcinoma was measured by the intake of bromine and iodine in methanolic serum extract. It was done by electrometric titration. The irradiation causes a decrease of the level of unsaturated fatty acids and an individually different increase of the redox value.
