To evaluate change in the ability of third-year pharmacy students to identify drugs that increase fall risk after training in and experience using the Medication Falls Risk Assessment Tool (MFRAT). An assessment was administered to students prior to MFRAT use and after MFRAT use. The assessment consisted of 10 medication regimens for various chronic conditions (50 distinct drug choices with 30 correct answers and 20 distractors), and students were to identify fall risk increasing drugs (FRIDs).

Documenting Tribal health priorities is needed to inform research agendas, policy efforts, advocacy, and funding. However, published literature rarely documents the methods used to develop surveys in Indigenous communities. This methods paper includes two objectives: (1) increase knowledge and understanding about the importance of community involvement in public health activities; and (2) provide an example of how the Rocky Mountain Tribal Leaders Council Epidemiology Center (RMTEC) worked with one Tribal community to develop a health priorities survey.

Background And Objective: Anorexia Nervosa (AN), Bulimia Nervosa (BN) and their variants are characterized by persistent alteration of eating behaviour, such as restricted intake or bingeing and purging, as well as excessive concerns about body shape and body weight. Purging behaviour may include self induced vomiting and/or abuse of laxatives, diuretics and physical hyperactivity. Unlike other psychiatric disorders, patients suffering from AN and BN have a high prevalence of many different medical complications, through the sequelae of undernutrition and purging, often with a serious impairment of health status and quality of life.
