Background: Bladder cancer (BC) presents significant molecular diversity, which affects both prognosis and treatment results. Immunohistochemistry (IHC) facilitates the identification of molecular subtypes and their relationships with clinicopathological features.
Methods: We performed an IHC analysis on tissue samples from 107 BC patients, evaluating the expression of markers GATA3, CD44, CK5/6, and CK20.

Cancers lacking standard screening (LSS) options account for approximately 70% of cancer-related deaths due to late-stage diagnosis. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) is a promising biomarker for multi-cancer early detection. We previously developed SPOT-MAS, a multimodal ctDNA-based assay analyzing methylation and fragmentomic profiles, effective in detecting common cancers (breast, colorectal, liver, lung and gastric).

Methods: Twelve teeth from eleven patients with periapical periodontitis and open apices were enrolled in the study. Nonsurgical endodontic therapy was performed with the PRF used as an apical barrier and the MTA manipulated as an apical plug for further thermoplasticized gutta percha in the remaining part of the root canal.
