- A total of 70 rats were used in different control groups, and various mitochondrial enzymes were analyzed over time after surgical procedures.
- After 6 months, results showed that the treated bladder tissue regenerated with similar enzymatic activity and histological characteristics as normal tissue, despite an initial inflammatory phase.
