Background: Sentinel node biopsy is a surgical technique to explore lymph nodes for surgical staging of endometrial cancer, which has replaced full retroperitoneal lymph node dissection. However, the effectiveness of sentinel node biopsy, its value to patients, and potential harms compared with no-node dissection have never been shown in a randomized trial.
Primary Objectives: Stage 1 will test recovery from surgery.
Background: Body surface area (BSA)-based dosing of irinotecan (IR) does not account for its pharmacokinetic (PK) and pharmacodynamic (PD) variabilities. Functional hepatic nuclear imaging (HNI) and excretory/metabolic/PD pharmacogenomics have shown correlations with IR disposition and toxicity/efficacy. This study reports the development of a nonlinear mixed-effect population model to identify pharmacogenomic and HNI-related covariates that impact on IR disposition to support dosage optimization.

Methods: Patients with incurable cancer, and a Family Member (FM), were randomised one-to-one to usual care or usual care plus an ACP intervention, between April 2014 and January 2017. Oncologists and participants were non-blinded.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to identify prognostic indicators of survival and response in a homogeneous population of chemotherapy-naive patients treated with oxaliplatin as part of 3 successive trials.
Patients And Methods: Patient data were derived from 3 successive phase II trials evaluating modifications of the FOLFOX4 (oxaliplatin/5-fluorouracil/leucovorin) regimen. Clinical and laboratory prognostic factors were identified from the literature.
Purpose: Pemetrexed and vinorelbine are active antineoplastic agents in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Phase I objectives include maximum tolerated dose (MTD) and recommended phase II dose determination, and pharmacokinetics of the pemetrexed-vinorelbine doublet in locally advanced or metastatic solid tumor patients (pts). Phase II objectives include tumor response evaluation, efficacy, and toxicity for first-line treatment of advanced NSCLC.
