Background & Aims: The aim of this study was to assess the long-term effectiveness and safety of risankizumab maintenance treatment in a large real-world cohort of patients with Crohn's Disease (CD).
Methods: From May 2021 to August 2023, all consecutive patients with CD treated with risankizumab in 25 GETAID centers have been retrospectively included. The primary endpoint was steroid-free clinical remission (Harvey Bradshaw Index [HBI] <5) at 52 weeks.
Background: Phase III trials have demonstrated the efficacy of risankizumab in moderate-to-severe Crohn's disease (CD), but no real-world data are currently available. We aimed to assess the short-term effectiveness and safety of risankizumab in patients with CD.
Methods: From May 2021 to May 2022, all patients with refractory luminal CD treated with risankizumab in 22 French GETAID centres were retrospectively included.
Background: Up to 25% of patients with ulcerative colitis (UC) will require hospitalization for severe flare. In patients hospitalised for severe flare, who previously experienced multiple drug failures, including steroids and anti-TNF agents, new quick-acting medical options are needed. Tofacitinib is effective in refractory UC and has a rapid onset of action.

It induces dysphagia in 5 % - 10 % owing to a tight valve ± esophageal motility disorders (EMD), with challenging management. We assessed the first case series assessing peroral endoscopic myotomy (POEM) in such a situation.

Our study compared the recurrence rate in patients with and without preoperative EUS-FNA.
Methods: This European multicenter registry-based study was conducted in 22 digestive units, and retrospectively included all patients who underwent complete resection of a pancreatic SPN from 2000 to 2018.
ESGE recommends offering stone extraction to all patients with common bile duct stones, symptomatic or not, who are fit enough to tolerate the intervention.Strong recommendation, low quality evidence.ESGE recommends liver function tests and abdominal ultrasonography as the initial diagnostic steps for suspected common bile duct stones.

Whether this therapeutic approach is feasible in a real-life setting remains unclear.
Aims: To determine (1) the proportion of patients eligible for early-TIPS among cirrhotic patients with VB, (2) the proportion of these patients who underwent early-TIPS placement and the main reasons for discarding TIPS, and (3) the outcomes of patients who experienced early-TIPS placement in a large, national, prospective, multicentre audit including academic and non-academic centres.
Background: Treatment of anastomotic fistulas after bariatric surgery is difficult, and they are often associated with additional surgery, sepsis, and prolonged non-oral feeding.
Objective: To assess a new, totally endoscopic strategy to manage anastomotic fistulas.
Design: Prospective study.

Aim: To evaluate the feasibility and the outcome of endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) for large colorectal tumors exceeding 4 cm (LCRT) undergoing piecemeal resection.
Methods: From January 2005 to April 2008, 146 digestive tumors larger than 2 cm were removed with the EMR technique in our department. Of these, 34 tumors were larger than 4 cm and piecemeal resection was carried out on 26 colorectal tumors.
