The question of whether a fall directly onto the shoulder can cause a rotator cuff tear has occupied doctors (and courts) for many years. Experts who rely on the medical insurance literature usually reject the causality of the incident. There are no scientific studies on this.

We wanted to know whether this statement was true. Lordoplasty has been reported as an alternative, cost-effective, minimally invasive, percutaneous cement augmentation technique with good restoration of vertebral body height and alignment. The authors report on its clinical and radiological midterm results.
