In this study, a TiO material with nanoparticle size of about 10-20 nm, surface area of 109 m g was synthesized using the microwave-assisted hydrothermal method. The chitosan/TiO film combined with cyclodextrin (chitosan-cyclodextrin/TiO, CS-CD/TiONPs) helps significantly improve the mechanical properties and enhance the antibacterial activity of the polymer film. Furthermore, the content of TiO nanoparticles in CS-CD/TiONPs also affects the tensile strength, antibacterial activity, ripening rate, ethylene production rate, and water vapor permeability during food preservation of the CS-CD film that has been studied.

Sulfur compounds in fuel such as thiophene, benzothiophene and dibenzothiophene are the primary source of SO emissions, leading to environmental pollution and acid rain. In this study, we synthesized a layered oxygen-doped graphitic carbon nitride (OCN) structure and integrated ZnO and TiO nanoparticles onto the OCN surface through a microwave-assisted sol-gel method. The X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and density functional theory (DFT) results confirmed a robust interaction between the ZnO and TiO nanoparticles and the oxygen-doped g-CN (OCN) surface, as indicated by the formation of C-N-Ti and C-O-Ti bonds.

In this study, CoCr layered double hydroxide material (CoCr-LDH) was prepared and used as an effective catalyst for peroxymonosulfate (PMS) activation to degrade organics in water. The prepared CoCr-LDH material had a crystalline structure and relatively porous structure, as determined by various surface analyses. This study delves into the advanced integration of a ternary heterogeneous Z-scheme photocatalyst, TiO/CuInS/OCN (OCN: O-g-CN), with carbon quantum dot (CQD) to improve the degradation efficiency of reactive yellow 145 (RY145) dye in water. The aim of this research is to obtain new data about the complexation between β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) and benzoic acid (BA) as a model reaction of the complex formation of hydrophobic molecules with cyclodextrins (CDs) in various media. This research may help developing cyclodextrin-based pharmaceutical formulations through the choice of the appropriate solvent mixture that may be employed in the industrial application aiming to control the reactions/processes in liquid phase. In this paper, NMR results for the molecular complex formation between BA and β-CD ([BA⊂β-CD]) in DO-DMSO- and in DO-EtOH have shown that the stability of the complex in the HO-DMSO- varies within the experimental error, while decreases in HO-EtOH.

Results: Obstetric ultrasound was reported as being a highly valuable tool, although replacing ordinary antenatal care surveillance with ultrasound examinations and misuse of ultrasound without medical indication was perceived as troubling.
