In this work, new lateral heterostructures (LHSs) formed by stitching germanene and AsSb monolayers are investigated. First-principles calculations assert the semimetal and semiconductor characters of 2D germanene and AsSb, respectively.

In this work, a series of 2D lateral heterostructures (LHSs), namely germanene-arsenene (Ge-As) and germanene-antimonene (Ge-Sb), are investigated using first-principles calculations. The results demonstrate a strong interline-dependence of the electronic and magnetic properties.

Here, we develop the novel metal-organic framework-derived nanocomposite, and apply for the adsorption of SDZ and SMZ antibiotics. To assess the best-fitting kinetic (pseudo first-order, pseudo second-order) and isotherm (Langmuir, Freundlich, Temkin, Dubinin-Radushkevich, Redlich-Peterson, Sips, Toth, and Khan) models, a series of numerous statistical analysis was performed.

Objectives: We present a case of a basilar-AICA aneurysm undergoing surgery with the combined transpetrosal approach.
