Patient specimens after complete mesocolic excision with central vessel ligation procedures have an integrity of the mesocolon and the yield of three fields of lymph node harvest.

Deficient Mismatch Repair Proteins in Gastric Mixed Neuroendocrine Non-Neuroendocrine Neoplasm: A Rare Case Report.

Mixed neuroendocrine non-neuroendocrine neoplasm (MiNEN) is a rare type of gastric carcinoma with controversial diagnosis and treatment. Recent data implies that deficiency mismatch repair proteins inducing microsatellite instability are considered one of the potential drivers of this disease. Hence, we report a stomach MiNEN with MMR protein loss.

Loeffler's syndrome in a child: A rare radiological and histopathological diagnosis.

Loffler syndrome is an uncommon, self-limited, benign pulmonary eosinophilia that usually lasts less than a month. Abnormal chest radiography occurs in 95% of patients; however, computed tomography findings are not well described. We present clinical features, radiological, and pathological findings of Loeffler's syndrome with secondary bacterial pneumonia in a child.

Histopathological Characteristics of Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumors in a Cohort of Vietnamese Patients.

Introduction: Gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) are the most common mesenchymal neoplasms of the gastrointestinal system. Histopathological examination takes an important part in confirming the subtypes of GISTs, to choose appropriate therapeutics for patients. This study aims to explore the histopathological characteristics and evaluate the relationship between malignant risk classification (according to Armed Forces Institute of Pathology criteria) and the histopathological features of GISTs in a cohort of Vietnamese patients.
