Our study aims to describe the status of workplace violence against medical students during clinical practice, which consists of its prevalence, types, perpetrators, students' responses and influences on them, reasons for workplace violence and to determine some relevant factors of this issue through both quantitative questionnaire and qualitative interview. A descriptive cross-sectional study with mixed methods was conducted on 320 students from the second-year to the sixth-year classes at Hanoi Medical University from August 2022 to February 2023. The questionnaire was based on the WHO questionnaire survey 'Workplace violence in the health sector - country case studies research instruments - Geneva 2003'.

This study set out to describe the cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) imaging characteristics of HCM and to evaluate correlations of selected CMR parameters with echocardiography.
Methods: This cross-sectional study enrolled 46 patients diagnosed at the Vietnam Heart Institute with HCM and underwent CMR at the Radiology Center, Bach Mai Hospital, from July 2021 to September 2022.
This case report details a novel technique implemented in Vietnam. When full equipment is unavailable, we adapt it by using aortic balloon occlusion to enhance the patient's hemodynamics and mitigate the risk of intraprocedural exsanguination. This approach effectively addresses the rupture of abdominal aortic aneurysms in patients with unstable hemodynamic conditions.

Methods: Eleven experienced cardiologists from across the Asia-Pacific countries participated in two rounds of the survey. In the first round, experts were asked to rate agreement/disagreement with 35 statements across seven domains regarding the use of β-blockers for treating hypertension, heart failure, coronary artery diseases, co-morbidities, as well as their safety profile, usage pattern, and pharmacokinetic variability.
Background: The prevalence and risk factors of atrial fibrillation (AF) in patients with transient ischemic attack (TIA) or ischemic stroke in Northern Vietnam are not well understood. This study aimed to estimate the prevalence and identify factors associated with AF in this population.
Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted on 2038 consecutive patients with TIA or ischemic stroke admitted to Bach Mai Hospital.
Background: To understand the prevalent issues and challenges in the provision of care for dyslipidemia and hypertension in Vietnamese adults, quantification of patient journey stages (awareness, screening, diagnosis, treatment, adherence, and control) was performed in this semi-systematic review.
Methods: The EMBASE and MEDLINE databases were searched for English articles published between 2010 and 2019. Thesis abstracts, letters to the editor, editorials, case studies, and studies on patient subgroups or nationally unrepresentative studies, were excluded.
Dermal hyperpigmentation or Fibromelanosis (FM) is one of the few examples of skin pigmentation phenotypes in the chicken, where most other pigmentation variants influence feather color and patterning. The Silkie chicken is the most widespread and well-studied breed displaying this phenotype. The presence of the dominant FM allele results in extensive pigmentation of the dermal layer of skin and the majority of internal connective tissue.

This remedy is also used to treat the symptoms of conditions classified as "hot" in traditional medicine.

A significant decline in LAI reactivity was noted after a thorough extirpation of the tumors as compared to that prior to the surgical intervention. The results have been compared and are here discussed with a view to a possible application of the LAI test in studies of antitumor immunity in patients with a malignant disease.

Simultaneously, changes in the proportionally of T (total and active) and B lymphocytes in peripheral blood were followed in the same patients by the E and EAC rosette formation test. Peripheral blood leukocytes from patients with malignant melanoma of the uvea, cultured in vitro for 20 hr with syngeneic and allogeneic tumor extract showed a significantly lower adhering capacity than the same cell population cultured without the specific tumor extract (21/22).

This study has indicated that the cell mediated antitumor immune response of rats immunized with living tumor cells and the blocking factor in serum of rats with progressively growing tumors may be demonstrated by the LAI assay with incubation time prolonged to 20 hr (LAI assay-IT20). In addition, the specificity of the blocking effect and the disappearance of blocking factor after surgical removal of tumors have also been demonstrated in this paper.

The peripheral blood lymphocytes were in high level even in rats bearing very small tumors; this result suggest the mobilization of lymphoyctes into peripheral blood in tumor bearing rats. The increase of EAC-rosette forming cells was accompanied with the growth of tumors.
