We present an analysis of inclusive Omega(c)(0) baryon production and decays in 230.5 fb(-1) of data recorded with the BABAR detector. Omega(c)(0) baryons are reconstructed in four final states (Omega(-)pi(+), Omega(-)pi(+)pi(0), Omega(-)pi(+)pi(+)pi(-), Xi(-)K(-)pi(+)pi(+)) and the corresponding ratios of branching fractions are measured.

Here, we show that the promoter of hsp90alpha gene, that encodes the inducible form of HSP90, is regulated by nuclear factor-kappaB (NF-kappaB) activity. Indeed, we found that NF-kappaB factors bound to one of the two putative consensus sequences present in the hsp90alpha-flanking region; mutation of such motif hampered the phorbol-myristate-13-acetate-stimulated expression of a luciferase reporter gene under the control of the hsp90alpha promoter.

The degree of agreement between the two common methods of calculating moment arms-tendon excursion (TE) and geometric origin-insertion, is currently unknown for the muscles crossing the knee joint. Further, measured moment arm data are subject to variability in estimation of attachment sites as points from irregular surfaces on the bones, and due to differences in joint kinematics observed in vivo.

The experimentally derived relationships used to transform CT scan data in Hounsfield unit to modulus and strength contain substantial scatter. The scatter in these relationships has potential to impact the results and conclusions of bone studies.

Methods: We performed a cross-sectional study of 2,195 men and 2,247 women, 33 to 69 year old (DESIR. cohort) recording responses to a self-administered "sleep" questionnaire and a general questionnaire including socio-economic characteristics and lifestyle factors.
We report the results of a study of the exclusive charmless semileptonic decay, B0-->pi(-l)(+nu), undertaken with approximately 227 x 10(6) BB pairs collected at the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the BABAR detector. The analysis uses events in which the signal B decays are reconstructed with an innovative loose neutrino reconstruction technique. We obtain partial branching fractions in 12 bins of q2, the momentum transfer squared, from which we extract the f + (q2) form-factor shape and the total branching fraction B(B0-->pi(-l)(+nu))=(1.
