We present the SPECT/CT-based implementation at Aarhus University Hospital and evaluate the uncertainty of the various steps in order to estimate the total uncertainty and to identify the major sources of uncertainty. SIRT is preceded by a workup procedure, where 99mTc-MAA (macroaggregated albumin) is injected in the tumor supplying artery/arteries followed by MAA scintigraphy. SIRT is frequently offered to patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), but large HCCs are known to be associated with a high risk of liver-to-lung shunting.

From only approximately 250 reactions with HD, the branching ratio between formation of MgD+ and MgH+ is found to be larger than 5. From an additional 65 reactions with H2 and D2 we find that the overall fragmentation probability of the intermediate MgH2+, MgHD+, or MgD2+ complexes is the same.

The Cs2 molecules are formed in the triplet ground state by cw photoassociation through the outer well of the 0-(g) (P3/2) excited electronic state. Inelastic atom-molecule collisions converting internal excitation into kinetic energy lead to a loss of Cs2 molecules from the dipole trap.
