Congenital middle mesocolic hernia: A case report.

Internal hernia is herniation of a viscus, usually in the small bowel, through a normal or abnormal aperture within the peritoneal cavity. Its incidence has been reported to be one to two per cent. Internal hernias are classified based on location, and the hernial orifice can be either congenital or acquired.
