Background: Previous researched has demonstrated potent health and survival advantages across three-generations in longevity-enriched families. However, the survival advantage associated with familial longevity may manifest earlier in life than previously thought.
Methods: We conducted a matched cohort study comparing early health trajectories in third-generation grandchildren (n = 5,637) and fourth-generation great-grandchildren (n = 14,908) of longevity-enriched sibships to demographically matched births (n = 41,090) in Denmark between 1973 and 2018.
Vocal behavior can be dramatically changed by both neural circuit development and postnatal maturation of the body. During song learning in songbirds, both the song system and syringeal muscles are functionally changing, but it is unknown if maturation of sound generators within the syrinx contributes to vocal development. A total of 83 731 pregnant women enrolled in the Danish National Birth Cohort reported on ED, and by linkage to the Danish health registers, hospital diagnoses of ED were obtained. Objectives: It has been suggested that the handling of heavy loads during pregnancy is associated with impaired fetal growth. We examined the association between quantity and frequency of maternal occupational lifting and the child's size at birth, measured by weight, length, ponderal index, small-for-gestational-age (SGA), abdominal circumference, head circumference, and placental weight.

Objectives: Pelvic pain during pregnancy is a common ailment, and the disease is a major cause of sickness absence during pregnancy. It is plausible that occupational lifting may be a risk factor of pelvic pain during pregnancy, but no previous studies have examined this specific exposure. The aim of this study was to examine the association between occupational lifting and pelvic pain during pregnancy.
