Introduction: Flexible flatfoot (FF) is a common pediatric condition that is mostly asymptomatic, and surgical intervention is only considered when painful FF is refractory to conservative treatment. Calcaneal lengthening osteotomy (CLO) is one of the most commonly used procedures to address painful FF. Traditionally, Kirschner wires (K-wires) were used for fixation, but there has been a recent increase in the use of plates.

PubMed and Cochrane Review databases were searched, without strict inclusion/exclusion criteria, for peer-reviewed articles between 1941 and 2021 that discussed RCCT etiology and treatments.

Psoriatic Arthritis and COVID-19: Patient Perspectives in a Large Psoriatic Arthritis Cohort.

Objective: To estimate the prevalence of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infection among patients with psoriatic arthritis (PsA), understand patients' perspectives regarding their risk of COVID-19 infection, and evaluate the standard of virtual care offered during the early phases of the pandemic.

Methods: An online survey was conducted between June 2021 and September 2021 in patients with PsA who had consented to email contact. The survey was completed by 152/193 (79%) patients who had consented to the study.

The objective of the present study, therefore, was to evaluate the effect of use and dose of porcine FSH (p-FSH) before OPU/IVEP on ovarian response and embryo production in pregnant heifers. Pregnant Holstein heifers (n = 48) were randomly assigned to receive 0, 160, or 300 mg NIH-FSH-P1 in a crossover design.

Background: Distorted thoughts are common in Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), and can impact patients' perceptions of depression severity, and predict chronicity and treatment response. This study aimed to investigate whether distorted thoughts mediate depressive symptoms in MDD over a 6-month period.

Method: These are secondary results from a study that followed 119 patients diagnosed with moderate to severe MDD for 6 months.

This study aimed to evaluate seed oil with or without resveratrol entrapped in organogel nanoparticles in vitro against A375 human melanoma tumor cells. Methods: Methodological study with 121 preterm children, evaluated with the Denver-II at ages 1, 2, 3, 4 and/or 5 years and with the Movement Assessment Battery for Children (MABC-2) at 7 years.

Background: Chikungunya is associated with high morbidity and the natural history of symptomatic infection has been divided into three phases (acute, post-acute, and chronic) according to the duration of musculoskeletal symptoms. Although this classification has been designed to help guide therapeutic decisions, it does not encompass the complexity of the clinical expression of the disease and does not assist in the evaluation of the prognosis of severity nor chronic disease. A prospective study was conducted in Porto Velho, Brazil, to investigate RDT performance in different specimen types as a function of the correlation between antigen concentration and viral load.
