This cross-sectional study conducted in Nicaragua examines the SARS-CoV-2 antibody responses in individuals, previously exposed to high infection rates who have received various vaccines. The vaccines under comparison include well-known ones like Pfizer (BNT162b2) and AstraZeneca (ChAdOx1-S), alongside less-studied vaccines including Soberana (Soberana 02), Abdala (CIGB-66), and Sputnik V/Sputnik Light.

We report the discovery of two mycobacteriophages isolated from soil in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Ashballer has a genome sequence length of 52,231 bp, while Bombitas is relatively larger at 110,129 bp. Both have siphovirus morphologies and have temperate lifecycles.

A cross-sectional study of Australian teachers' health: are work-related factors associated with lifestyle behaviours?

Teacher's lifestyle behaviours are important because they lead to positive health outcomes for teachers themselves and because teachers model behaviour to their students. This cross-sectional study examined the lifestyle behaviours of a large sample of teachers in New South Wales (NSW), Australia and assessed the association between work-related factors and lifestyle behaviours. From February to October 2021, data were collected on the lifestyle behaviours, work-related factors and socio-demographics of primary and secondary school teachers in NSW, via an online survey.

The goal of this work is present results of field output factors (OF) using an IBA CC003 (Razor NanoChamber) and compare these results with PTW 60019 (MicroDiamond) and IBA Razor Diode. The experimental results for IBA CC003 were also compared with Monte Carlo (MC) Simulation, using Penelope and Ulysses programs. In addition, field output correction factors (kQclin,Qmsrfclin,fmsr) for IBA CC003 were derived with three different methods: (1) using PTW 60019 and IBA Razor as reference detectors; (2) comparison between MC and experimental measurements; and (3) using only MC.

3-D Coherent Multi-Transducer Ultrasound Imaging with Sparse Spiral Arrays.

Coherent multi-transducer ultrasound (CoMTUS) creates an extended effective aperture through the coherent combination of multiple arrays, which results in images with enhanced resolution, extended field-of-view, and higher sensitivity. The subwavelength localization accuracy of the multiple transducers required to coherently beamform the data is achieved by using the echoes backscattered from targeted points. In this study, CoMTUS is implemented and demonstrated for the first time in 3-D imaging using a pair of 256-element 2-D sparse spiral arrays, which keep the channel count low and limit the amount of data to be processed.
