This paper presents a multi-laser beam focusing on laser welding based on a reflective splitting mirror, aiming to improve the stability of the laser welding process and reduce welding defects. By validating the laser welding process on Q235 mild steel using a newly developed multi-focused laser beam, the results show that by increasing the number of laser focal points, the porosity and spattering are effectively reduced, thus achieving higher process stability. Additionally, the rotation of the laser focal point further reduces the occurrence of welding defects such as porosity and spattering.

Adaptation is one of the fundamental characteristics of life activities; humans and animals inhabiting high altitudes are well adapted to hypobaric hypoxic environments, and studies on the mechanisms of this adaptation emerged a hundred years ago. Based on these studies, this paper reviews the adaptive changes in hypoxia-sensitive tissues and organs, as well as at the molecular genetic level, such as pulmonary, cardiovascular, O-consuming tissues, and the hemoglobin and HIF pathway, that occur in animals in response to the challenge of hypobaric hypoxia. High-altitude hypoxia adaptation may be due to the coordinated action of genetic variants in multiple genes and, as a result, adaptive changes in multiple tissues and organs at the physiological and biochemical levels.

We report the discovery and characterization of antioxidative effects of uridine linked with three dipeptide motifs against DNA oxidation induced by peroxyl radicals. First, the dipeptide motifs are constructed by using the Ugi four-component reaction (Ugi 4CR), in which caffeic, ferulic, sinapic, and syringic acids are used as the carboxylic acid resources, vanillin, benzaldehyde, and -hydroxybenzaldehyde are used as the aldehyde resources, tyramine- and dopamine-related isocyanides as well as ethyl isocyanoacetate are used as the isocyanide resources, and 2-(-aminophenyl)ethanol is used as the amine component.
